Canon G9 with canon housing

Can anyone tell me if an Ikelite AF 35 will work with my Canon G9 and Canon housing?
Any suggestions on what might be better?

You need a deflector on the housing for avoiding the light from the camera's strobe reflecting off suspended particles in the water and back into the camera's lens, while allowing the camera's strobe to trigger the AF-35 sensor.
